Students use digital technology for almost everything connected with studying. They search for information, watch lectures, send messages to teachers, work on shared documents, and use different apps when they need help with an assignment. For many students, this is just normal life now.
But being comfortable with technology does not necessarily mean being good at using it.
A student might know every feature of a social media app and still have trouble deciding whether a website is reliable.
