7 Steps To Reading Heaven

John F. Kennedy used to do it, and he also encouraged his staff to follow his example. No, we’re not talking about having dinner dates with Marilyn Monroe – but setting aside time to learn how to Speed Read.

JFK, who would arguably have been the greatest President the United States ever had given long enough to prove it, was an avid supporter of speed-reading. It no doubt enabled him to shine as leader of the world’s most powerful nation, and although having the ability to speed-read didn’t save his life – it may well save yours.

In today’s fast-moving, ever-evolving jobs market the need to be able to read, and read well, is thirty times greater than ten years ago. Recent surveys indicate that in another ten years people entering employment will need to have reading skills another thirty times faster.

If you don’t – you may be dead in the jobs water, languishing in a mediocre life when all that is holding you back is the simple act of reading.

With advances in the World Wide Web and other forms of communication, access to information and knowledge is instantaneous, and we have to be able to act quickly to not only register what we are being given, but to digest it too. Having the ability to speed-read greatly aids this process, thereby giving us a powerful tool with which to use what we are being fed.

Emails, texts, laptops, iPhones, television – wherever you look you will find communication all around you. And if you are working, then it is more than likely you will need to be able to assimilate information coming through these channels quickly, every day. Maybe every minute, of every day.

But sometimes it is hard to keep up with it all, and even harder if our reading ability is poor. For many people not being able to read very quickly is holding them back in life.

That’s why Speed Reading has become a popular technique that many people all over the world are adopting to give them that edge in today’s fast-paced modern society. Inevitably, that means there are many companies offering study courses, and computer software with information, tips, and lessons on how to make the most of the potential that speed-reading could have for you.

As Marc Slater, Director of eReflect says, “We created 7 Speed Reading software because we saw first hand what a big difference faster reading can make to someone’s life and career. No matter what position people are currently in, this information applies to everyone. Using the unique 7 Speed Reading skills that people can learn with our thoroughly developed, extensively tested techniques, not only will their reading become three times faster, but they can then comprehend more, and develop an almost photographic memory to retain everything they read”.

With such skills comes great freedom, and potential, not only in the work place, or college, but in daily life too. To be able to make the most of what is going on around us is a wonderful gift to have, and opens up so many avenues of possibility.

They say that knowledge is money – well maybe knowledge is a form of heaven too?
